A seemingly serendipitous meeting regarding bass lessons grew into a sincere friendship between Kirk and Barry. Having been a student of Barry’s for just a few years, Kirk was asked to audition for a bass position in a band Barry was forming. Turns out that Kirk has an innate ability to create and arrange bass lines for songs he has never heard before. He continues to be amazed that he is playing alongside his instructor together with such an incredible percussionist.
